Lotus is a pretty little white cat with brown/orange spots on her head and tail. She has pretty light green eyes. Lotus came to us as a scared, skittish kitten recently rescued from the pound. She hid most of the time, and wanted nothing to do with people. Once she trusts you, Lotus is very affectionate. She doesn't like to be picked up or held, and she's still skittish, but now she loves to be petted. She also loves chasing bed mice (feet under blankets), so watch out!
Lotus gets along well with other cats, and seems to really like dogs. Here you see her with our dog, Shane. Lotus is especially fascinated by our ferrets. She plays with them every chance she gets.
One of our older cats, Daphne, adopts all the new kittens that move into our house until they're grown up. She especially likes Lotus. Here they are sleeping together behind the computer.
This is Lotus playing with Jet, a recent adoptee from our house. Lotus is very playful, with other animals, and with toys.
