Phoenix is a pretty little striped cat with yellow eyes. Phoenix is very vocal and likes to talk to us when we pet her. Sometimes she can sound threatening when picked up, but she really isn't. Phoenix is very affectionate and loyal once she gets to know and trust you. She also has some funny habits. Occasionally, she'll get into the shower or sink and bat at the falling water! She also likes to lick the tub after you get out.

We first took care of Phoenix when she was a little kitten. She was incredibly sick and we weren't sure she'd make it, but we nursed her back to health (thus her name). This poor cat was adopted once by a family, but the little girl who she belonged to developed allergies and they had to return her. Phoenix was heartbroken and it took her a while to trust people again.
Phoenix is spayed and is current on all her shots.
Per ASL rules, she must be an indoor cat only.
Phoenix has lived with kids, cats, dogs, rats, and ferrets and hasn't had any problems with any of them.
